School Facing Information
PayOurSchool is provided by Way2Pay, a trusted Groupcall partner, and is a simple and easy to use parent payment solution that takes the hassle out of collecting money from parents. From trips to concerts or clubs to lunches, PayOurSchool provides a portal for parents to pay for items and activities as well as to top up their cashless catering lunch balance.
The system can be used for regular and recurring activities, allowing your school to move to a cashless environment. PayOurSchool can also be used for smaller schools or activities where payments are few and far between, for which a traditional subscription model would not make financial sense.
Your school data is automatically synced from Messenger to PayOurSchool. To ensure that PayOurSchool works successfully for the school and parents, it is important to maintain contact information in your MIS. Group data will also be pulled across, including any Saved Groups that you have created in Messenger.
PayOurSchool is completely free to set-up and there are no ongoing subscription fees. Groupcall are only obliged to charge a competitive 1.5% transaction fee for all online payments. For more information on this, click here. Credit card transactions do not incur any additional costs!
Getting Started
You will need to log into Messenger to access PayOurSchool. The PayOurSchool tile should be visible from your Homepage. If you don’t see this tile, contact your school administrator to check your permissions.

Main Features
The main features of PayOurSchool can be accessed by clicking: View Activities, Create Activity or Reports from the tile. Clicking on any option will take you to the relevant feature within the PayOurSchool interface.
View Activities
- View and search all existing activities and their details.
- Add students/classes/groups to an existing activity.
- Send an ad-hoc message to the parents of all students associated with an activity.
- Send a reminder/notification message to the parents of all or individual students associated with an activity.
- Print a receipt of payment.
- Refund payment of a bill.
- View/Attach a file associated with an activity.
- Delete students from an activity.
- Delete a draft activity.
Create Activities
- Create a new activity.
- Add students/classes/groups to a new activity.
- Attach a file associated with an activity.
- Send a message to the parents of all students associated with the new activity.
Reports
- View various report types:
- Payments detailed
- Outstanding by activity
- Payments by students
- VAT Report
- Disbursement Reports
- Cashless Catering-related reports
- Filter report criteria by date/activity/student name.
- Export/download a report.
Pay Our School Interface
Additional features such as Pay by Cash, View Students, View Groups, View Parents and View School Profile can be accessed via the side menu on the left, or from the Menu on the top right corner of every page, within PayOurSchool.
To go back to Messenger, simply click the Home icon from the top of the side menu on the left.
