Log in to Emerge on a Device

Once your device has been accepted into the Emerge Management Console by your Groupcall Administrator/Network Manager you will need to log in to Emerge.

You should have been given 3 pieces of information in order to do this;

  1. Emerge Service URL
  2. Username
  3. Password

Please make sure you have them available to complete this process.

Log in to Emerge on Apple Devices
  1. Open the app by selecting the Emerge Icon on your device as you would with any other App.
  2. When asked if you would like to connect to the Demonstration server, select no.iOS_DemoNo

  3. Enter the details obtained from the Emerge Management Console earlier, including Service URL, Username and Password and select 'Done' on your keyboard.
    • Depending on network speed and availability, this may take a few moments to complete.Emerge_Setup_load

  4. Set a passcode of your choice and re-enter to confirm.iOS_Passcode
    • We recommend setting a passcode different to any device passcode you may have set.
    • You should avoid 'obvious' choices such as '0000' or '1234' etc and if you every suspect your passcode is compromised in future your should change it from the in App settings screen.

  5. The Emerge device will now load the databases and you will be able to use Emerge on the newly configured device.

 

Log in to Emerge on Android Devices
  1. Open the app by selecting the Emerge Icon on your device as you would with any other App.
  2. Enter the details obtained from the Emerge Management Console earlier, including Service URL, Username and Password and select 'Login.Android_ConnectionScreen
    • Depending on network speed and availability, this may take a few moments to complete.

  3. Set a passcode of your choice and re-enter to confirm.Android_Passcode
    • We recommend setting a passcode different to any device passcode you may have set.

  4. The Emerge device will now load the databases and you will be able to use Emerge on the newly configured device.
