What is Groupcall Dashboard?

Groupcall Dashboard is a tool that tracks the visibility of Xporter, Emerge & Messenger Installs and is used to  save admin time and reduce operating costs.


Dashboard 2013.8

Dashboard 2013.8a released on 29th August 2013 and introduces new functionality to proactively identity failed Emerge Service Bus connection that could manifest in a very small number of cases when we release an updated version of Groupcall Emerge result from our upcoming upgrade, and for existing Groupcall IDaaS clients.

Groupcall Dashboard:

  • There are no changes to the Groupcall Dashboard platform in this release

Groupcall Xporter Heartbeat:

  • For sites with EmergeServer present and Service Bus enabled, Heartbeat will now carry out an additional health status check to inspect the status of the Emerge Service Bus link

Groupcall Data Broker Service:

  • There are no changes to the Groupcall Data Broker Service in this release.

 

Dashboard 2013.7a

Dashboard 2013.7a is a hotfix release to address a caching  issue that was impeding grouping Xporter clients by status and to aid investigation of an integration issue with Integris G2 schools using the Cached DBS (CMTF) feed.

Groupcall Dashboard:

  • Address a caching issue impeding grouping of Xporter clients by status

Groupcall Xporter Heartbeat:

  • On IDaaS-enabled schools carry out additional health checks on the Azure Service Bus connection
  • Optimised Xporter job status reporting to Dashboard
  • Auto-add DashSif reference when DashSifAllow detected, accept SchoolInfo request from DBS

Groupcall Data Broker Service:

  • Cached DBS (CMTF) processing
    • Changes to aid investigation of an integration issue with Integris G2 school
    • Adjust data rejection policy to accept  school name in cases where unexpected data is received so such instances can be audited and followed up

Dashboard 2013.7

Dashboard 2013.7 is a hotfix release to address a caching and performance issue that was affecting a small proportion of Xporter clients.

Groupcall Dashboard:

  • Address a caching and performance issue affecting processing of Xporter Heartbeat health updates
  • Address a caching and performance issue affecting user logins to the Dashboard website
  • Increase diagnostic bundle collection to include Groupcall Emerge configuration and status

Groupcall Xporter Heartbeat:

  • No changes

Groupcall Data Broker Service:

  • No changes

Dashboard 2013.6

Groupcall Dashboard is made of multiple components and the most recent release is 2013.6 which made a staged release in w/c 10th June 2013.  The release process for  Groupcall Dashboard is managed centrally as the platform is used by multiple customers including Groupcall Support.

Groupcall Dashboard:

  • Updates to SIF Agent monitoring to display last-request time and and job result
  • Show all SIF GCX references when filtering a Dashboard to SIF-only
  • Minor rendering errors resolved

Groupcall Xporter Heartbeat:

  • Improvements to Heartbeat status communication with Dashboard taking advantage of .net 4 where installed

Groupcall Data Broker Service:

  • XVault data feed
    • Significant scalability enhancements for multi-authority datasets and XVault-to-XVault links
    • Resolve defect resulting in error messages during XVault requests being suppressed
  • RM CMTF integration
    • Proactive improvements to activation process in line with ISO27001 accreditation
      • Xporter CMTF secret now requires school data owner contact to click a link to obtain it within 72 hours of activation
      • Schools without a registered data owner contact are rejected by the platform at receipt
      • Schools that withdraw from the service without notifying Groupcall are now automatically purged after 90 days of non-receipt
